RETIREMENT ARCHITECT

I work with people who are close to retirement and have more questions than answers.

That's exactly where I do my most useful work. Helping you figure out when you can actually retire, how to draw income without running out of money, and what to do about taxes, healthcare, and everything else that suddenly feels urgent.

This isn't just a job for me.

More than 30 years ago, my father passed away unexpectedly. He didn't have a will. No instructions. No plan. What followed was one of the most emotionally exhausting experiences my family has ever been through. The law, the lawyers, the courts made the decisions. I now call that the "Government Plan."

If you haven't made your own legal, healthcare, and financial plans, the government already has a default set of rules ready to step in for you. I have never met anyone who actually prefers that option.
I've seen too many families go through the same thing. That experience is a big part of why I do this work.

There's a real gift in having your affairs in order, not just for you, but for the people you love. And I've found, without exception, that people who've taken care of it feel more confident and settled. They know they handled it.

I genuinely value the relationships I've built with my clients. Every situation is different, and I take that seriously. I listen, I learn, and I work to build a clear blueprint for each person, one that reflects where they are today and where they're working toward.

My focus is retirement planning. That means staying current on everything that affects your retirement: investing, Social Security, Medicare, and what it actually takes to age well financially. I'm committed to ongoing education in all of it. My goal is to help you understand and avoid the kinds of mistakes that can be costly and, in some cases, impossible to undo.

My drive is motivated by my own life experiences. I know what it looks like when planning doesn't happen. I'd rather help you get ahead of it.

Who I Work With

Pre-retirees (55–65)

Working toward retirement and want to know if they're on track.

Retirees (65+)

Already retired and focused on income, taxes, and making assets last.

Women navigating transitions

Divorce, widowhood, caregiving gaps. Complex situations, clear guidance.

Families with aging parents

Estate coordination, long-term care, and getting everyone on the same page.

A little more about me:

I hold three retirement-focused credentials: the ChFC®, RICP®, and CRPC®. I'm not big on alphabet soup, but those designations reflect a real commitment to staying current on retirement income, Social Security, Medicare, and the planning details that can trip people up when the stakes are highest.

Outside of work, I've been married for over 35 years. My wife and I have two kids, and recently welcomed our first grandchild.

I'm a tinkerer at heart. Home improvement projects are my version of a weekend reset. There's something satisfying about seeing a problem, making a plan, and actually finishing it. Probably not a coincidence that I approach financial planning the same way.

I also play golf. Not well. But consistently, which I think counts for something.
